Resiliency
expert Jenny Evans shares four micro-strategies to help us make changes to get
rid of "Sneaky Pete" aka the caveman part of the brain that drives
thoughts and actions in times of stress.
Her
micro-strategies include:
The
micro-burst: using intense physical activities for 30 to 60 seconds to change
chemistry in the brain.
Nutrition: using food to decrease cortisol in the brain.
Eat
mindfully: eat frequently, every three to four hours, throughout the day to
keep blood glucose chemistry within the ideal range.
Micro-beliefs: finding a sense of purpose and mission within your life and
day-to-day activities.

past.If you are anxious you are living
in the future. If you are at peace you are living in the present.” ―
