In this course, we will look at the
expectations of this role, as well as other EO roles and resources to help you.
We’ll also examine the impact Forums have on Chapter health and the value each
member gets from Forum participation – EO’s
most highly rated member
benefit.
With this
course, you’ll gain an understanding of:
- Introduction- How to set yourself up for success in the critical first 90 days as Chair.
- The Forum Journey – We’ll look at the different forum options for Members and the different “paths” they can take along the way.
- Forum Health-Here, you’ll learn how to assess a Forum’s “health” and what to do if it’s not.
- Forum Moderators and Budget- Learn how to interact with your Forum moderators, including those starting new Forums and how to budget for your Forums.
- Forum Placement & Trifecta – Forum placement is a critical component to a member’s Forum success, and can be a confusing and sometimes contentious process. Here, we’ll look at placement options. We’ll also see how working collaboratively with other Chairs in the important “Trifecta” can help create the best possible experience for members.
- PEAK and the Plan for Success – Finally, we’ll look at how you can plan for success going forward and how the PEAK (Performance, Excellence, Accountability and Knowledge) program can be a part of that success.
